Over 40 years of Innovation in Diet Foods

1982

The manufacturing plant is built in Láchar. It begins the production and commercialization of the wholemeal and sugar free products.

1983

The range of products is increased with the gluten free line.

1987

The first biscuit for weight control is made and commercialized First exportations to EU and South America

1989

First Spanish company which develops and makes foods for people with metabolic disorders (as Phenylketonuria).

1994

The exports to the EU and other countries are consolidated, especially of the lines Harifen (low protein foods) and Harisin (gluten free foods).

1995

It is certified as first Spanish manufacturer of dietary products with a Quality System according to the Interantional Standards ISO-9002.

1997

Founder company and participant of the Innovation Andalucia Network. Member of the Leading Council 1998-2001.

1998

A new technology of packaging under protective atmosphere begins to be used for avoiding the use of preservatives in the products.

1999

Two new product lines are developed: SANASPORT (food for sportmen) and SANAVI BIO (foods made with ingredients from organic farming) which means the registration of the company in the register of the Andalusian Committee of Organic Agriculture. Two important research projects with FEDER subsidy in the areas of Food Technology began with the collaboration of the University of Granada and the Health Andalucian Service.

2000-2003

Preliminary results of the project called NUTRIRRENAL (Nutrition in Renal Insufficiency), carried out by the Institute of Nutrition of the University of Granada, Andalusian Health Service (Virgen de las Nieves Hospital of Granada) and the Department of R & D of Sanaví that highlight the usefulness of its products with low protein content for the nutritional treatment of patients with chronic renal failure.

2003

Certification of its Integrated System of Quality and Environment according to the International Standards ISO-9001 e ISO-14001.

2005

The Andalucia Council grants to the Company the “IX ANDALUCIA AWARD OF RESEARCH TO THE PROMOTION OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL RESEARCH”. Founder company and member of the Leading Committee of the Association of companies for the Nutrition and Health.

2006-2008

Participation in the project “IDENTIFICATION, EVALUATION AND INTERVENTION ON THE CRITICAL POINTS OF PROCESS TO MINIMIZE LA FORMATION OF ACRYLAMIDE”

2011-2014

Participation in the AVENASIN Project: “´THE OATS AS CEREAL OF HIGH ADDED VALUE FOR CELIAC PEOPLE: OBTAINING OF NO TOXICAL VARIETIES AND DEVELOPMENT OF NEW FUNCTIONAL PRODUCTS”.

2014

Project “MULTIDISCIPLINE STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF THE GLUTEN FREE DIET IN CELIAC CHILDREN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FOODS ADAPTED TO THEIR REQUIREMENTS” with the University of Granada.

2018-2020

New development of bars and biscuits based on the latest trends in food.

2018-2022

Participation in the European project: STANCE4HEALTH (SMART TECHNOLOGIES FOR PERSONALISED NUTRTITION AND CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT)

2020

Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC22000)
